The Kansas City Chiefs have been facing some serious chatter this season. Some fans think the NFL and its officials are showing too much favoritism toward them, the defending Super Bowl champions.

On social media, many critics continue to argue against the Chiefs’ success, suggesting there’s some kind of collusion at play. This situation has become quite heated. In fact, former Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib recently spoke up to support the Chiefs.

Talib took to Twitter to share his thoughts about a controversial roughing the passer call that affected the Chiefs in their latest game against the Houston Texans. He mentioned that if a quarterback is hit in the head, it should be a penalty every time, regardless of the intent behind the hit.

I’m #BroncosCountry 4Life!!! BUT this Chiefs hate is getting out of hand!!! If you hit the QB in his head, it’s a flag! No matter your intentions! And please don’t say they didn’t touch his head.

Talib, a talented player in his own right, believes that the penalty against quarterback Patrick Mahomes was justified. Fans can likely expect even more discussion around penalties when the Chiefs square off against the Buffalo Bills in the upcoming AFC Championship Game.
