This weekend’s NFL conference title games are exciting for fans of the Denver Broncos. Nine former Broncos players will be taking part in these crucial matchups.
The first game is the NFC Championship at 1:00 p.m. MT on Sunday, January 26. The Washington Commanders will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles. Former Bronco Jeff Driskel, who is a backup quarterback for the Commanders, will be in action. Haggai Ndubuisi, a defensive lineman from international roots, is also part of the team but is on reserve.
Later that day, at 4:30 p.m. MT, the AFC Championship features the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City’s roster includes running back Samaje Perine and Montrell Washington, who is currently on the practice squad.
The Bills are packed with former Broncos talent. Star pass rusher Von Miller leads the way. The team also includes punter Sam Martin, receiver KJ Hamler, safety Kareem Jackson, and receiver Jalen Virgil, all of whom are on the practice squad.
Regardless of which teams move on to the Super Bowl in New Orleans on February 9, it’s guaranteed that at least two ex-Broncos will be competing for the championship.
