Former Indian cricketer Ajit Agarkar sells Bandra West apartment for Rs 4 crore
Former Indian cricketer and cricket administrator Ajit Agarkar has sold a residential apartment in Mumbai's Bandra West for Rs 4.00 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Maharashtra website.
The transaction was registered in April 2026.
Bandra West remains one of Mumbai's most sought-after residential markets, supported by premium housing developments, strong social infrastructure, lifestyle amenities, and access to major business hubs. The area is connected through road networks, suburban rail services, and the Mumbai Metro, while also offering access to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
According to the registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, the property is located in Jewel Co-op Housing Society in Bandra West. It has a built-up area of 114.15 sq. m., or about 1,229 sq. ft., and includes two car parking spaces.
The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of Rs. 24 lakh and registration charges of Rs. 30,000.
Agarkar represented India across formats after making his international debut in 1998. He was part of Indian squads during the early 2000s, claimed more than 300 wickets, and scored more than 3,500 runs across formats. After retiring from professional cricket, he moved into cricket administration and was appointed Chairman of Selectors for the Indian men's cricket team in 2023.
