Former Karnataka CM SM Krishna: Former Karnataka CM and senior Congress chief SM Krishna died at his residence on Tuesday (December 10) morning. He breathed his final at his residence in Bengaluru at 2.45 pm on Tuesday. He served because the CM of Karnataka between 11 October 1999 and 20 May 2004. Somanahalli Mallaiah Krishna was born on May 1, 1932 in Somanahalli village of Maddur taluka. He obtained his early and graduate training in Mysore. He studied regulation on the Government Law College, Bengaluru. He began his political profession as MLA from Maddur. In 1962 he received as an unbiased candidate. He married in 1964.
