Former NFL linebacker Darron Lee, once a shining star for the New York Jets, finds himself in serious trouble. He was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his girlfriend, as announced by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee.
Lee, 31, who was a key player at Ohio State, was taken into custody on Thursday at the scene of the incident. First responders were called to the residence, where they found a woman who was already deceased. Early investigations suggest that her death was a homicide, though her identity has not been revealed pending family notification.
