Former Oregon Ducks Coach Arrested for Strangling Eugene Woman: Shocking Details Revealed

A former offensive analyst for the Oregon Ducks, Antonio A. Parks, has been charged with felony strangulation. Parks, who now works for Louisiana State University, is accused of attacking a woman after she refused to delete a social media video.

The incident reportedly occurred in mid-December. According to a police affidavit, Parks allegedly demanded the woman remove her video titled “A Day in the Life of a Stay At Home Girlfriend.” When she declined, he pushed her onto the bed and strangled her for 30 to 60 seconds.

The woman documented her injuries days later, taking photographs on December 17. Police officer Jessica Ruch, who investigated the case, noted bruises and a scratch on her neck. On Sunday, Parks was arrested but claimed the incident was just a late-night argument where the woman assaulted him.

It’s unclear why there was a delay between the incident and his arrest. Parks, who maintains his innocence, stated, “I know the truth. It’s a waste of time to ruin someone’s career.”

The social media video has been deleted. Parks worked with the Ducks for two years before moving to LSU last month. The LSU Tigers are aware of the situation and are reviewing it.

Parks was released from jail on conditional release on Wednesday.
