McDonnell served as the 71st governor of Virginia from 2010 to 2014, and before that, he was the state’s Attorney General. His career also includes time in the Virginia House of Delegates. He has worked on key issues like education reform, transportation, and economic development. Notably, he spent four years at a Fortune 500 healthcare company. His academic achievements include degrees from the University of Notre Dame, Boston University, and Regent University, alongside his military service, where he retired as a lieutenant colonel.
