Foundation 45 Transforms into Amplified Minds: A Bold New Era for Dallas’ Mental Health Nonprofit

Many well-known musicians, like Adele and Billie Eilish, have bravely shared their struggles with mental health. Yet, many local artists still face these challenges quietly, often without the means to get the help they need.

That’s where Amplified Minds steps in. This Dallas-based nonprofit has been around for ten years and recently rebranded to better serve the community. They now offer free individual therapy, group counseling, and support specifically for the LGBTQIA+ community, available both online and in person.

Originally known as Foundation 45, Amplified Minds was established after the tragic loss of two musicians from the band Spector 45. The organization aims to prevent further loss by providing crucial mental health resources.

Lauren O’Connor, the president of Amplified Minds, shared her excitement about the new direction. The updated name reflects the organization’s goal to empower voices and offer vital mental health support to those who need it.

Services are open to anyone over 18, making it accessible for many who might be struggling.
