ANN ARBOR, Mich. — In a thrilling match, the No. 8 University of Michigan women’s lacrosse team defeated No. 14 Colorado 8-7 on Saturday afternoon at U-M Lacrosse Stadium. The game was intense, with neither team leading by more than two goals.
Michigan clinched the win with three unanswered goals in the fourth quarter. Peyton Shreves scored the decisive goal with just three minutes left on the clock. The Wolverines’ defense shut out the Buffaloes in the fourth, forcing a critical turnover to secure their victory.

After halftime, Colorado surged ahead with four goals, leaving Michigan trailing 7-5 heading into the final quarter. Demonstrating resilience, the Wolverines responded with three quick goals, culminating in Shreves’ game-winner.
