At Myntra, she was more than just a chief marketing officer; she was also responsible for Jabong’s profit and loss. She directed marketing and brand strategies during a time when India’s fashion e-commerce sector thrived.

Her international experience peaked at ZALORA, where she served as Group CEO. She drove growth and innovation across markets in Southeast Asia, including Singapore and Malaysia.

Leading YouTube India

Now, as MD of YouTube India, Soni has a pivotal role in shaping the country’s vast creator economy. With over 500 million users in India, YouTube is more than just a platform; it’s a cultural powerhouse. Soni will guide YouTube’s strategies, content innovation, and partnerships to keep India engaged.

Gunjan holds an MBA in Finance from XLRI Jamshedpur and a degree in Computer Science from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. She also serves on the board of CBRE Group, a Fortune 500 real estate services company.

Apart from her professional life, Soni enjoys sci-fi, particularly the adventures of Captain Picard in Star Trek. This passion reflects her love for storytelling and innovation, much like the creative platforms she’s now part of.
