Front Row Filmed Entertainment has officially picked up the distribution rights for the acclaimed documentary No Other Land in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This exciting partnership was forged through discussions between Elie Touma from Front Row and Stephanie Fuchs from Autlook Filmsales, a sales company based in Austria.
Directed by Basel Adra, a Palestinian activist, and Israeli journalist Yuval Abraham, No Other Land highlights the heartbreaking story of Adra’s hometown, which has been devastated for military training purposes. The documentary showcases Adra’s efforts to raise awareness, bolstered by Abraham’s collaboration.
The film premiered at the 2023 Berlinale, where it clinched the Panorama Audience Award and the Berlinale Documentary Award. Since its debut, No Other Land has collected an astonishing 68 awards from various film festivals, including recognition from the Boston Society of Film Critics and the European Film Awards. Notably, it won the best documentary feature award at the 2025 Oscars, marking the first time an Academy Award-winning documentary has done so without a domestic distribution deal.
While the filmmakers faced hurdles in securing a U.S. distributor, they took on the challenge of self-distribution with the help of Cinetic Media for theatrical bookings. The film opened on February 2, initially on one screen, where it earned $26,000. It continued to thrive for four weeks, ultimately grossing over $1.2 million and expanding to 120 screens.
Earlier this year, Front Row also launched its second Netflix original, The Sand Castle, which quickly made waves, being among the top 10 films on the platform in over 77 countries. The company has recently released various notable projects, including The Substance, The Apprentice, and Emilia Pérez, alongside powerful films like 20 Days in Mariupol and Holy Spider.

Soon, the film will be released in select cinemas across MENA, followed by a premium Video on Demand (VOD) rollout.
