On February 16, 2025, FTI Consulting announced a new practice focused on Healthcare and Human Services in Australia. Nathan Schlesinger will lead this team as Senior Managing Director, along with Nicki Doyle and six other Managing Directors.

Nathan has over 25 years of experience working with health and aged care clients across Australia, the U.S., and Southeast Asia. Nicki brings 16 years of experience in aged care, helping clients navigate policies and market changes.

Mark Dewar, the Australia Leader at FTI Consulting, emphasized the importance of this practice. He believes the unique combination of local expertise and global resources will help clients tackle significant challenges in the industry. The team aims to offer personalized solutions that truly address the needs of their clients.

The new practice will address crucial issues like system reform, sustainability, digital advancements, and productivity in healthcare. Alongside Nathan and Nicki, Trina Adams, Alicia Boyd, Somer Dawson, Laura Day, Charlotte Gordon, and Taahir Kerbelker will also join as Managing Directors, further strengthening the firm’s expertise in the sector.

Nathan Schlesinger has led numerous strategic projects for government health agencies and private health organizations. Before joining FTI Consulting, he held leadership roles at PwC, where he focused on healthcare improvement.
