IRVINE, Calif. – The Concordia University Irvine women’s volleyball team won decisively against Azusa Pacific with a score of 3-1. The match saw the Golden Eagles shine, particularly with an impressive total of 14 aces.

Gabby Johnson and Ally Scheidle were standout players. Johnson, with three kills and a remarkable seven blocks, bolstered the team’s defense, limiting APU’s hitting percentage to .156. Scheidle provided steady leadership, achieving a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs, helping guide her team through tough moments.

Macy Scheer and Halen Kiefer also contributed significantly, each recording double-doubles. Scheer assisted 25 times while managing 10 digs. Kiefer not only secured 10 kills but also led with 15 digs and five aces. Caitlin Jarrell and Kayden Croy were offensive powerhouses, each hitting .429. Jarrell notched 14 kills, while Croy followed closely with 13 kills.
