Mary Neely made a name for herself during the Covid lockdowns. She created viral reenactments of love duets from classic musicals. By performing both parts, she caught the attention of big names like Lin-Manuel Miranda and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The New York Times and Washington Post even recognized her work as some of the best theater in 2020.

Recently, Neely wrapped up filming for an untitled Bumble movie from 20th Century Studios. She stars alongside Lily James and Dan Stevens. This film is set to premiere on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in other regions in 2025. Neely is also part of a special rendition of the cult classic The Room alongside Bob Odenkirk, produced by Acting for a Cause.

Next month, Neely’s indie TV pilot Stars Diner will premiere at SXSW. She co-wrote and co-produced this quirky show about a Fresno diner with an ex-party girl, a hot-headed chef, and a strange busboy. Expect to see ghost pirates and volcanoes as they navigate their unusual lives. Additionally, she co-wrote and stars in Or Something, which premiered at last year’s SCAD Savannah Film Festival.

Mary’s journey began in commercials, where she was recognized as the energetic Tide Pods Waitress from 2015 to 2019. As a filmmaker, she created the comedic series Wacko Smacko for YouTube and the short film Pink Trailer, which premiered at SXSW and was showcased at the Palm Springs ShortsFest. Her acting work includes roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, MGM’s Valley Girl, Sony’s Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, and Netflix’s Happiness for Beginners.

Chris Evans, co-founder of Fusion Entertainment, praised Neely’s unique talents. He stated her blend of humor and authenticity makes her an ideal fit for their team. He expressed excitement at supporting her as she continues to grow in her career.

Fusion Entertainment, founded in 2022 by Evans and Adam Kersh, aims to represent multi-talented individuals. Alongside Neely, they also manage established figures like Amy Seimetz and Sean Baker, as well as promising newcomers like Joanna Arnow and Kit Zauhar.
