Fyre Festival is back with a new event, now officially called Fyre Fest 2! It’s set for May 30 to June 2, 2025, promising a fresh start after the notorious fiasco of its first festival in 2017.

This time, the festival will take place on Isla Mujeres, a beautiful island off the coast of Mexico. Founder Billy McFarland aims to redeem himself and the festival’s image after the disastrous original. McFarland has teamed up with SoldOut.com for ticket sales, which offers refunds—something that was sorely needed last time.
SoldOut.com will also handle secondary ticket sales, while logistics will be managed by LostNights, a Mexican concert production company. The new dates were pushed back a bit from the earlier planned dates of April 25-28.
McFarland described Fyre Fest 2 as an “adventure into the unknown,” promising exceptional experiences for attendees. He expressed confidence in SoldOut.com’s music festival expertise to provide a smooth ticket-buying journey.
SoldOut.com president Andrew Hentrich reassured fans that if the festival gets canceled, all ticket buyers will receive full refunds. He mentioned that funds from ticket sales will be held securely until the event occurs, adding that the company is fully insured.
After the chaos of the first Fyre Festival, where many attendees received tiny refunds due to bankruptcy, this assurance should be a relief for potential ticket buyers. However, prices for the new festival are steep, ranging from $1,400 to $25,000. There’s even a lavish $1 million package for eight people, featuring luxury villas, a private yacht marina, and a private jet to Cancun.
As of now, no performers have been announced for the festival. Major booking agencies have reported that they haven’t been contacted by anyone from Fyre Fest or LostNights yet. It’ll be interesting to see how they shape up the lineup as the event approaches!
