K-pop superstar G-Dragon is making waves with his brand new solo show, “Good Day.” This exciting variety program will feature a star-studded lineup, including the popular girl group aespa, and actors Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Go-eun. Celebrity chef Ahn Sung-jae, known for his appearance on Netflix’s “Culinary Class Wars,” will also join the fun.
In “Good Day,” G-Dragon steps into the role of a music producer. He’ll be working with various talented guests to craft what they hope will be the song of the year. The show promises to dive into the creative process, transforming personal stories into music, and it all began from an idea pitched by G-Dragon himself.
Expect to see many familiar faces on the show. Comedian Jo Se-ho, Big Bang members Daesung and Taeyang, and actors Jung Hae-in, Im Si-wan, and Hwang Jung-min will all make special appearances. The K-pop group Seventeen’s BSS subunit is also set to join, adding to the excitement.
One of the most anticipated parts of “Good Day” is the reunion of G-Dragon with his old colleagues from the iconic MBC show “Infinite Challenge.” The show will be produced by Kim Tae-ho, who has a history of collaborating with G-Dragon on “Infinite Challenge,” including memorable moments in music competitions.
This show marks Kim’s return to MBC after a three-year break, having left in January 2022. On top of that, the first teaser for “Good Day,” featuring comedian Jung Hyeong-don, was released on YouTube and quickly gained popularity, reaching nearly 470,000 views in just one day.
Fans can catch “Good Day” starting February 16 on MBC, with new episodes airing every Sunday at 9:10 p.m. International viewers can also enjoy the show on Disney+.
