Gajendra Shekhawat Praises Op Sindoor: ‘New India Will Crush Those Who Cast Evil Eyes on Us!’

Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat recently emphasized India’s tough stance on terrorism and its commitment to national security. He stated that if anyone threatens India, “naya Bharat ghar mein ghus kar maarega,” which signals India’s readiness to act decisively.

In an interview with ANI, Shekhawat made it clear that there will be no third-party mediation on the Jammu and Kashmir issue. The only discussion point with Pakistan, according to him, is the need for Pakistan to relinquish its illegal control over Indian territory.

Shekhawat highlighted the effectiveness of the Indian Armed Forces, particularly referencing Operation Sindoor. This operation targeted terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan following the tragic Pahalgam attack that took 26 lives. The minister stated that India’s military actions have sent a strong message to those who oppose India: they won’t risk it, even in their dreams.

He also mentioned the significance of suspending the Indus Waters Treaty in light of Pakistan’s support for terrorism. PM Modi had earlier noted that “blood and water won’t flow together.” Shekhawat reiterated that India has honored this treaty since before the wars of 1965, 1971, and Kargil, but recent events have changed that stance.

As Shekhawat explained, “Every drop of India’s share of water will stay in India.” This change illustrates a new approach, aimed at ensuring India’s interests are not compromised.
