Interestingly, the 49ers haven’t had a punt return for a touchdown since 2011—an astonishing 14-year gap.
Coach Kyle Shanahan faced criticism for failing to adjust strategies during the game, continuing to rely on players who weren’t performing. Meanwhile, the Rams loom as the next challenge.
