This monthly giveaway offers free food, furniture, clothing, and other essentials. It happens every first Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon or until supplies run out. Donations from the community help stock the event. Feeding the Valley, a local charity, also provides boxes of food for attendees.

Many grandparents are stepping up to care for their grandchildren, often because the children’s parents are in difficult situations like incarceration or substance abuse.
