The teaser images show the RAV4 in various settings: snowy landscapes, winding roads, and suburban neighborhoods. Toyota claims this model is ready for “urban streets to outdoor retreats,” although the name isn’t mentioned.

Spy photos earlier hinted at a slightly larger vehicle with a more upright shape, which might offer better headroom and cargo space. The design suggests cleaner lines and a flatter profile, while the camouflage could obscure some features. The prototype also appears to have larger quarter windows and C-shaped headlights, aligning with Toyota’s current design trends.

Interestingly, it looks like Toyota plans to keep RAV4 production in the U.S. to avoid tariffs. Originally, they planned to import it from Canada and Japan. However, reports indicate production might continue at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, with a potential start date of 2027.

The redesigned RAV4 could hit U.S. markets as early as the 2026 model year. When asked about production plans, a Toyota spokesperson didn’t provide details. We’ll learn more about the manufacturing location when the new model is unveiled soon.
