MINOT, ND – The Minot State Beavers women’s hockey team, ranked #6, is excited to kick off the WMCH Conference Tournament. They will face Midland University on Thursday, February 20, at 11:00 AM in O’Fallon, Illinois.
Depending on the outcome of this game, the Beavers may play in the semifinals against either Liberty University or the University of Minnesota on Friday, February 21, at 2:30 PM or 6:00 PM. If they lose, they’ll enter a consolation game earlier that day at 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM. The final match is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, at 1:00 PM.
Both teams have had strong seasons. The Beavers’ record stands at 22 wins, 7 losses, and 3 overtime losses, while Midland boasts a record of 25 wins, 6 losses, and 1 overtime loss.
Recently, the Beavers had an impressive two-game series against the University of Jamestown, winning both games without conceding any goals.
