Get Ready for Action: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Launches this August in Japan and the West!

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is set to release on August 1 in Japan and August 5 in the west. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC through Steam. Go for the Digital Deluxe Edition, and you can start playing five days early! Digital pre-orders begin on March 3, but Switch players will have to wait a bit longer for their pre-orders.

The Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at $69.99 and includes:

Base game

Two Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Keys – Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui

Four more Character Unlocks: Tengen Uzui, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima

Special voice lines for VS Mode from Upper Rank Demons: Akaza, Daki, Gyutaro, Gyokko, and Zohakuten

Three unique costumes: Tanjiro’s, Inosuke’s, and Tengen’s

Pre-order bonuses include early access to play on July 31 and two additional unlock keys for Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji.

The Digital Standard Edition comes at $59.99 and has similar features, minus the extra unlocks and costumes.

A physical edition is also priced at $59.99, including the base game and the two unlock keys for Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji.

Bonuses for Linking Save Data

If you have save data from either Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles or Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board!, you’ll get some extra goodies:

With The Hinokami Chronicles save data, you’ll unlock six new characters: Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Shinobu, and Giyu.

With Sweep the Board! save data, get unlock keys for Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma (they play as one character), plus three cooking-themed costumes for each.

Just make sure your save data is linked on the same platform before you get The Hinokami Chronicles 2.
