Get Ready for an Exciting 2025 Volleyball Season: University of the Pacific Reveals Complete Schedule!

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific volleyball team, led by Head Coach Greg Gibbons, has unveiled its schedule for the 2025 season. It promises exciting matchups, starting with an opening game against Cal Baptist on August 29 in Northridge. This event will also see them face CSUN and Idaho State on August 30 and 31. Interestingly, this will be the first time Pacific meets Cal Baptist, while their previous encounters with CSUN and Idaho State were in 2021 and 1986, both resulting in victories.

After Northridge, the team will head to Georgia to take part in a round robin from September 5-7. Here, they’ll face Mercer, Georgia Southern, and UNCW—all new challengers for the Tigers.

On September 12 and 13, Pacific will travel to Reno for matches against Nevada and Eastern Washington. The Tigers are looking to continue their strong history against both teams, having won their last encounters in 2023, with an impressive 26-8 record against Nevada and a perfect 2-0 record against Eastern Washington.

The last stretch of non-conference play includes Fresno State, Sacramento State, and CSU Bakersfield from September 18-20. Again, Pacific boasts strong all-time series records against all three, winning significantly in past matchups.

The West Coast Conference (WCC) games begin on September 25 and will be crucial for the Tigers. They will play teams like LMU, San Francisco, and Saint Mary’s, with some teams visiting Stockton and others requiring travel.

The season will definitely test the Tigers, who have consistently shown promise. As they prepare for this competitive season, fans can follow their journey online for updates and behind-the-scenes content.

In terms of engagement, social media buzz around the team has been growing. Recent polls show that fans are excited about the new recruits and the strategies Coach Gibbons will bring. The excitement reflects the larger trend in college volleyball, where fan support and social media interaction are on the rise. Fans are eager for the games, especially the home opener against LMU on October 2.
