Tennessee volleyball coach Eve Rackham Watt unveiled the 2026 schedule, which includes matches against nine NCAA Tournament teams, including five that made it to the Round of 16.
“We’re thrilled to share our 2026 lineup,” Rackham Watt said. “This schedule will challenge us and prepare the team for SEC action. We can’t wait for the home matches and some exciting road games. It’s a great opportunity for our players to grow.”
The season kicks off at home with the Tennessee Tournament from August 28-29. The Lady Vols will face Colgate on the first day and play Morehead State and Fairfield on the second day.
Tennessee will host a total of 12 matches. Fans can buy season tickets, starting at $60. Reserved seating is available for $100, ensuring your favorite spot for every game.
Last year, the Lady Vols had a solid 12-3 record at Food City Center. Attendance soared, with the program breaking records for total and average attendance, ranking among the top ten nationwide.
The SEC has released a 15-game schedule for the Lady Vols, who will once again compete against each conference opponent. The SEC Tournament will take place in Savannah, Georgia, from November 20-25.
In 2025, five SEC teams, including Tennessee, made the NCAA Tournament, with Texas A&M taking home the national championship. In 2026, Tennessee will host Kentucky and travel to face Texas and Texas A&M.
Upcoming Non-Conference Matches:
Colgate (August 28): Colgate, coming off an 18-10 season, includes two standout players returning, Milan Bayless and Tiana Owens.
Morehead State (August 29): The Eagles finished last season with a 23-9 record; they return key players, including setter Sydney Sennett.
Fairfield (August 29): The defending MAAC champions ended the previous season with a record of 25-6.
Illinois (September 1): This match will be part of the first Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge.
Indiana (September 6): The Lady Vols will meet the Hoosiers at the second Broadway Block Party in Nashville.
Pitt (September 9): The Lady Vols head to Disney World for this neutral match against the Panthers, who reached last season’s national semifinals.
Coastal Carolina (September 12): Hosting the Chanticleers, who finished with an 18-11 record last season.
Queens (September 15): The Royals finished last season with an 18-12 record and have promising players returning.
South Florida (September 19): The Bulls are coming off their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 23 years.
Penn State (September 20): The Nittany Lions continue their impressive streak of 45 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.
2026 Team Outlook:
Tennessee brings back key players including three-time All-American setter Caroline Kerr, who has been vital for the team’s offense.
