Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are back, and fans are excited! The beloved couple from Yellowstone is stepping into their own spin-off series titled Dutton Ranch. Paramount+ recently revealed a sneak peek and announced that the show will premiere on May 14 with two episodes.
Dutton Ranch will stream on Paramount+ and air on the Paramount Network starting May 15 at 8 p.m. The first season will consist of nine episodes, released weekly. Chad Feehan is the showrunner, continuing the legacy crafted by creators Taylor Sheridan and John Linson.
The teaser hints at a turbulent journey ahead for Beth and Rip. After settling peacefully in Dillon, Montana, they will face new challenges. “A legacy is a beautiful thing,” Beth tells a new character, Beulah Jackson, played by Annette Bening. “But only if it survives.”
This time, the couple takes their fight to Texas. The series follows them as they grapple with harsh realities and confront a rival ranch willing to do anything to protect its empire. In South Texas, strong emotions and harsh choices define survival.
Returning will be Finn Little as their son, Carter, alongside an impressive cast that includes Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, and Ed Harris. The diversity of characters promises to enrich the story.
Dutton Ranch marks the second spin-off from the Yellowstone franchise, following Marshals, which focuses on Beth’s brother, Kayce Dutton. Marshals is currently airing its first season and has already been renewed for a second. Showrunner Spencer Hudnut revealed that since the beginning of Yellowstone, there have been talks about new spin-offs to expand the universe.
Interestingly, Reilly and Hauser had shown great enthusiasm for continuing their characters’ journeys wherever Sheridan’s storytelling leads them. Both shared their commitment to deepening Rip and Beth’s relationship and hinted at the possibility of crossover events with spin-offs in the future.
As interest in the Yellowstone universe continues to grow, fan engagement remains strong. Social media buzz is reflecting excitement, with trending hashtags related to both Dutton Ranch and Marshals. Fans are creating discussions around their favorite moments and potential plotlines, showcasing the show’s impact on popular culture.
Dutton Ranch is produced by Paramount Television Studios alongside various executive producers, including David Glasser and Christina Alexandra Voros. With its talented cast and dedicated production team, the series is set to carve its own path within the ever-expanding Yellowstone legacy.
Fans can catch all the action and drama starting May 14. With each new episode, the saga of the Dutton family continues to unfold, ensuring viewers remain hooked on their riveting journey.
