2025-26 ACC Men’s Basketball Schedule Announced

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) has unveiled its 2025-26 men’s basketball conference schedule. The season kicks off on November 3, and conference play begins on December 30.

ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips expressed excitement about the upcoming season. “The ACC has a strong history in college basketball, and with new coaches and talent, we expect plenty of thrilling matches,” he said.

This season marks a return to the 18-game format, which hasn’t been seen since 2018-19. Each team will have one main rival to play home and away, plus an additional variable partner—decided each year—to ensure a competitive schedule. Teams will face 14 of the other 15 teams at least once during the season.

Here are the primary partner matchups:

  • Boston College vs. Notre Dame
  • Clemson vs. Georgia Tech
  • California vs. Stanford
  • Duke vs. North Carolina
  • Florida State vs. Miami
  • Louisville vs. SMU
  • NC State vs. Wake Forest
  • Pitt vs. Syracuse
  • Virginia Tech vs. Virginia

The variable partners for the 2025-26 season include matchups like Boston College facing Miami and North Carolina playing Syracuse.

After the regular season, the T. Rowe Price ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament will take place from March 10-14 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. This tournament has a rich history, being held in Charlotte multiple times, including recent years in 2008 and 2019.
