Car lovers, get ready! The annual car show is returning to Princeton this summer, and it promises to be spectacular. Show and Shine 2025, the third edition of this beloved event, will take place on August 29 and 30. This two-day celebration of classic cars will transform the streets into a lively display of vintage vehicles, complete with live music and family-friendly activities.
Show and Shine made a comeback in 2023 after a brief pause, and it’s now a beloved tradition in the community once again. Kicking off with a swap meet on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the main car show is set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Therese Grgich, a key organizer, shared her excitement for this year’s event. “We’re looking forward to improving every year and anticipate around 200 cars will participate this time,” she said. New features include a fresh logo, a new Facebook page, and food trucks to keep the crowd fed, plus balloons for the kids!
Planning is still in the early stages, but Grgich is optimistic. She noted that car registration is just $25, and food vendors can register for $50. The registration links will soon be available on the Princeton Show and Shine Facebook page.
This year’s cause for the proceeds has yet to be announced, but rest assured, all funds will benefit a meaningful local endeavor. “We aim to highlight our beautiful little town,” Grgich explained. “With the help of an incredible team of volunteers and generous sponsors, we’re set for an unforgettable event filled with sunshine, fantastic cars, and great music.”

Recent surveys show that local car shows play a crucial role in fostering community ties. In fact, about 87% of attendees at similar events say they feel more connected to their neighborhood through such gatherings.
