Lehigh Men’s Wrestling Kicks Off Season with Intrasquad Match
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men’s wrestling team is ready to showcase their talent at the annual Brown and White Intrasquad on Thursday night at 7 p.m. This event, held in Leeman-Turner Arena, marks the unofficial start of the wrestling season.
Head coach Pat Santoro has organized nine exciting bouts. Fans can expect to see some familiar faces, with six seniors likely to compete. Notable wrestlers include All-American Sheldon Seymour and Max Brignola, who is entering the season ranked in the top 10 nationally. Newcomers Bekhruz Sadriddinov and Duncan Christensen will also make their debut in Lehigh singlets.
This year, the event will feature three matches at the 174-pound weight class, but there won’t be bouts at 133, 184, and 285 pounds.

The official season kicks off on November 2 with the Princeton Open in New Jersey. The dual season opens on November 8 at Journeymen WrangleMania, followed by the home opener against Pittsburgh on December 5.
