The Colorado women’s golf team, ranked No. 44, is gearing up for a challenging competition at the GameAbove Golf Invitational. This event takes place on March 9-10 at the picturesque Rolling Hills Country Club in Rolling Hills Estates, California.
Colorado will compete against 10 other schools in this 54-hole tournament. Notably, seven of the top 30 teams in the nation are participating, including powerhouse programs like No. 2 USC, No. 3 Oregon, and No. 4 Texas A&M.
Action kicks off on Monday morning at 8:50 a.m. MT, with teams set to play the first 36 holes. The final round will follow on Tuesday, starting at the same time.
The Buffaloes come into this event with momentum, having recently won the Causeway Invitational on February 24 in Sacramento. The same lineup will compete, featuring standout players like sophomore Ellen O’Shaughnessy and freshman Teemapat Pateetin, who both finished tied for second at the last event, each scoring 3-under-par. Junior Carolyn Fuller achieved a commendable tie for 12th place at 3-over-par—a great performance that marks her fourth top-15 finish this season. Rounding out the team are Maya McVey and Vanessa Ngo.
For this tournament, Colorado will play alongside No. 26 SMU and Long Beach State in the first round. They’ll tee off at the 10th hole, also at 8:50 a.m. MT.
