Corus Entertainment is set to launch a new afternoon lifestyle and entertainment show called TMS2 this fall. Airing weekdays at 1 p.m. on Global and streaming on STACKTV, it will feature entertainment reporter Morgan Hoffman as the host.
Building on the success of The Morning Show, TMS2 will showcase stars from top programs across the Global network, including W Network, Home Network, and more. Viewers can expect fun expert segments on home, fashion, food, and wellness, mixed with interviews of high-profile celebrities.
One exciting feature of TMS2 is its connection to Corus’ commerce platform, NextScreen. By scanning a QR code during the show, viewers can easily shop the featured products.
Jordan Schwartz, Head of Morning Programming at Corus, expressed his excitement: “The Morning Show reaches 2.4 million Canadians each month, and we’re thrilled to extend that success with TMS2. Morgan is a beloved presence, and we can’t wait to bring her energy to the afternoon.”
As retail commerce gains momentum, integrating brands into everyday content is becoming increasingly valuable. Christopher Mercer, Senior Vice President of Media Sales at Corus, noted that tools like NextScreen create seamless shopping experiences that connect discovery with conversion.
This new show not only aims to entertain but also to enhance viewers’ lifestyles, suggesting a shift in how lifestyle programming interacts with commerce. With the rise of influencers and digital shopping habits, it’s interesting to see traditional media evolve in this way.
With TMS2, audiences can look forward to a fresh blend of content, commerce, and connection, all designed for the modern viewer.
