Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed four new members to the Northwest Florida State College District Board of Trustees: Todd Jackson, Jonathan Ochs, and reappointments for Megan Harrison and Jon Ward. All four are experienced leaders who have previously served on the college’s presidential search committee.
Todd Jackson is the CEO of HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital in Niceville. He has over 18 years of experience with HCA Healthcare. Jackson is board certified in healthcare administration and holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business and health administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Jonathan Ochs serves as the Coastal Region President at Gulf Coast Bank and Trust Company. Before this role, he managed Trustmark National Bank in nearby counties. Ochs graduated from California Baptist University.
Megan Harrison is the President and CEO of the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce and operates TailGrayton Beach Outfitters. She also sits on the board for the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals and holds a degree in hospitality management from the University of Florida.
Jon Ward is a dermatologist who founded Dermatology Specialists of Florida in 2006. He has been active in the medical community and was named the Bay County Chamber of Commerce’s Businessperson of the Year in 2014. Ward earned his bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of Florida.
These appointments require confirmation from the Florida Senate.
