Early Sunday morning, a fight outside Kistler Living Center at Grand Valley State University escalated, resulting in a stabbing. The altercation occurred just after midnight and involved several individuals.

When police arrived, they found one man with minor injuries and another individual who claimed to have been stabbed but showed no signs of serious harm. Remarkably, neither person required medical treatment beyond basic first aid.

The suspect fled the scene wearing a ski mask and dark clothing. Chief Daniel Lindstrom from the university’s Department of Public Safety reassured the community that they are actively investigating the incident. They are collaborating with local law enforcement to identify the suspect and are enhancing patrols on campus to ensure safety.
