Grant Fisher Breaks the 3000m World Record

After gaining attention for his unique journey from working at Walmart to winning titles, Beard claimed his second Millrose title in the 60-meter hurdles with a personal best of 7.38 seconds. He fought closely with Division II standout Cordell Tinch but pulled ahead in the final moments, setting a new world lead in the process.

Yared Nuguse Sets the Indoor Mile Record

Yared Nuguse added to the excitement by breaking the indoor mile world record. He finished the race in 3:46.63, surpassing the previous record of 3:47.01. Close behind him, Hobbs Kessler also ran an impressive time of 3:46.90. Nuguse had long aimed to break this record and, after previous near-misses, finally achieved his goal at Millrose.

Jacious Sears Sets Her Sights on Gold

Sprinter Jacious Sears impressed fans with her performance, winning the women’s 60m in 7.02 seconds. This season, she hasn’t just won; she has consistently improved her times. With other top sprinters like Julien Alfred not racing, this might be Sears’ chance to claim the world title.
