Harvard University Baseball: Ivy League Tournament Preview
Harvard baseball is making headlines again! The Crimson have secured a spot in the Ivy League Tournament, which runs from May 16-19 at Yale’s George H.W. Bush Field. The opening match is set for noon on May 16, where Harvard will take on the top-seeded Bulldogs.
This marks Harvard’s second appearance in the tournament since it started three years ago. Their record stands at 12-26 overall and 9-12 in the Ivy League. They finished strong, winning three out of their last four Ivy League series.
In recent weeks, Harvard has shown improvement with a 12-10 record since March 25, even hitting an impressive .299 as a team during that stretch.
Historically, the Ivy League used to have a three-game championship series from 1993 to 2022. During that time, Harvard participated nine times, clinching the championship in 2019. They’ve won a total of 19 Ivy League titles and 22 EIBL titles throughout their history, showcasing a legacy of competitive spirit and excellence.
