Following the demise of Indian National Lok Dal supremo and former Haryana Chief Minister Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautalathe Haryana authorities has declared a vacation in all schools today, December 21, 2024. The state can be observing a 3-day mourning interval from December 20 to 22, 2024.
The Directorate of School Education, Haryana, issued a discover stating that the state authorities has declared a public vacation in all state places of work as a mark of respect. Consequently, all schools in the state will stay closed on December 21.
The official discover reads, “As per the fax message received from the Chief Secretary, Govt. of Haryana dated December 20, the State has decided to observe 3-days mourning in view of the death of Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala, Ex-Chief Minister , Haryana on December 20. The Haryana Govt. has declared a public holiday in all the State Offices as a mark of respect to the departed Soul. 21. All DEOS and DEEOs are requested to ensure the compliance of the above orders,” as reported by PTI.
