The second set saw both teams trading points initially, but Nebraska extended its lead. Kansas made some gains with scores from Zelenovic and others, but Nebraska pushed ahead with an 11-point lead, winning the set 25-11.

The third set began with Nebraska taking a quick 5-1 lead, prompting another Kansas timeout. Despite a brief response from the Jayhawks, the Cornhuskers continued to dominate, finishing the match with a third set score of 25-12.
