FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Washington softball team’s remarkable season ended Saturday night as they lost to South Florida, 4-6, at Bogle Park.

Washington wrapped up the regular season with a record of 37-20 and a strong Big Ten performance, finishing 16-8 in their second year in the conference.

In an earlier game that day, the Huskies defeated Fordham 5-2, forcing a rematch with South Florida. This win was a team effort, with seven players contributing hits. Kaycie Burdick was a standout, going 3-for-4 and leading the charge.
