Five people were taken to the hospital after a helicopter crash in Huntington Beach, California, on Saturday afternoon. The crash occurred just after 2 p.m. near Pacific Coast Highway and Huntington Street, according to local firefighters.
The helicopter had two people on board, both of whom were rescued from the wreckage. Unfortunately, three pedestrians were also injured and required medical attention. All five individuals were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police closed off Pacific Coast Highway between Huntington Street and Beach Boulevard at around 3 p.m. while they investigated the incident. They advised drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes for a few hours.
