Looking ahead, he acknowledged the current racing season, stating, “There are still 12 races left. We will keep fighting for the Drivers’ Championship as long as it’s mathematically possible.”
At this point in the season, Verstappen trails championship leader Oscar Piastri by 69 points. With 25 points awarded for each race victory, the competition remains wide open.
