Recently, the university closed the bidding process for this tool. Now, they’re evaluating the proposals and encouraging all faculty to watch the vendor demonstrations. These recordings are about two hours long, and feedback is welcome. The deadline to share thoughts is December 5, 2025.
This tool aims to make it easier for instructors to create and share syllabi across all Purdue campuses. A standout feature allows professors to customize syllabus visibility while keeping a single document version. This flexibility is crucial for maintaining course integrity.
Another important aspect is compliance with House Enrolled Act 1001-2025. This legislation mandates that faculty post their syllabi online for student access. The new tool will not only help with this requirement but also meet accreditation standards, enhancing the overall student experience.
Keeping things aligned with modern educational practices is essential. A recent report from the National Center for Education Statistics revealed that over 70% of students prefer access to digital course materials. This tool could meet that demand, making learning more streamlined for everyone.
