President Nelson, who served as the 17th president of the Church since January 2018, left a significant impact. His leadership was characterized by a commitment to service and community.

Interestingly, President Nelson’s tenure has seen a shift in how religious leaders engage with modern issues, with greater emphasis on humanitarian efforts. According to a recent study by Pew Research, 58% of religious leaders believe that addressing social issues is vital to their mission today, showing how their roles have evolved.
