How a Health Scare Transformed My Life: Dolphin Dubey’s Journey to a Healthier Lifestyle – Times of India

When Dolphin Dubey faced a heart attack at just 29, it changed her perspective on health and balance in life. Reflecting on that moment, she recalled, “I had a minor heart attack on the set of Tu Hai Aashiqui about seven years ago. Thankfully, I avoided surgery. But it was a wake-up call.”

This experience led Dolphin to reassess her lifestyle. She recognized the need to slow down, especially as a single mother. “I began practicing yoga to instill discipline in my life. I also eliminated unhealthy foods from my diet. It was gradual, but now I feel fit and healthy.”

Currently, Dolphin is taking a short break from her acting career. She shared, “I wanted to focus on home for a while. My daughter, Kamakshi, is in 10th grade and preparing for her board exams. I aim to balance my work and family life. I plan to return to acting in a couple of months.”

Dolphin, who has been a single mother since 2016, emphasizes the challenges of parenting alone. However, she is thankful for Kamakshi’s support and understanding. “We’ve been living separately for seven years. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m proud of how we’ve managed,” she said.

Through her journey, Dolphin shows that prioritizing health and family can lead to a more fulfilling life.
