By 2019, after traveling the globe for work, I achieved my dream! I became an assistant creative director at Cirque du Soleil in Los Angeles. Just as I was settling into this exciting chapter, the pandemic hit. Suddenly, I found myself unemployed, having to leave behind the job I’d worked so hard for.
Returning to my parents’ home in Noosa felt disheartening. I was lost, something I’d never experienced before. To cope, I turned to dating apps, a way to break the monotony of my days. Being a soon-to-be mother didn’t mean I had to give up my passion. With Tom’s support, I even created a show called Cirque Bon Bon while pregnant. He’s been by my side, pushing me in a wheelchair as I finalized the details just days after our second child was born.
