How Amit Shah Conquered Diabetes and Shed 20 Kgs Naturally: Discover His Life-Changing Lifestyle Tips! | WATCH NOW

Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently opened up about his diabetes and how lifestyle changes have positively impacted his health. At an event marking World Liver Day, he shared that he made significant changes in May 2020. These changes, he said, have allowed him to manage his diabetes without allopathic medicine or insulin.

Shah emphasized the importance of health, especially for the younger generation. He encouraged the youth to invest time in their health, suggesting two hours of exercise daily and six hours of sleep each night. “These simple modifications can help you live another 40 to 50 years and contribute to the nation’s progress,” he stated.

On this occasion, he stressed that a healthy liver is crucial for overall well-being. He urged everyone to pledge to maintain liver health with awareness and diligence. To support this initiative, he launched a nationwide program called HEALD (Healthy Liver Education and Alcohol-associated Liver Disease Prevention). This effort aims to combat the rising incidence of liver disease through education and policy integration.

Shah also highlighted the Indian government’s ongoing efforts to improve the healthcare system. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the health budget has seen a significant increase from ₹37,000 crore in 2014 to ₹1.27 lakh crore today. Various schemes, such as Ujjwala Yojana and Fit India, are directly linked to public health improvements.

Recent statistics underline the importance of preventive health measures; studies have shown that lifestyle changes can significantly reduce the risk of chronic diseases. A 2020 survey by the World Health Organization found that 66% of non-communicable diseases are linked to poor lifestyle choices. This reinforces Shah’s message about the value of prioritizing health.

Moreover, the creation of over 15,000 Jan Aushadhi Centres ensures affordable access to essential medicines. Initiatives like Mission Indradhanush provide free vaccinations for children, boosting public health. These efforts mark a significant shift in India’s approach to healthcare, from reactive treatment to proactive prevention.

In conclusion, Amit Shah’s journey and the government’s initiatives remind us that health is not just about avoiding illness. It’s about making conscious choices every day for a better tomorrow.
