Climate experts are raising concerns about reopening Doncaster Sheffield Airport, saying it could harm the environment and may not be a wise use of public funds. This week, it was revealed that over £100 million of public money would be needed for the airport’s reopening after Doncaster Council couldn’t find enough private investment to back the project.
