“I met Mark in ’88 when we teamed up as the Death Express in the Mid-South with Jerry Lawler in Memphis. We quickly became good friends. When I first met Taker, he wasn’t into some of the things I liked. He didn’t drink Jack Daniels or listen to country music, and he didn’t even have tattoos! I was there when he got his first tattoo. He also didn’t ride a Harley, which I love,” he recalled. “I introduced him to that side of life, and he embraced it.”
