Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Thursday (December 12, 2024) termed Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee’s controversial remarks on Jyotiraditya Scindia as unlucky and asked members to keep away from making private feedback of their speeches. He stated that this isn’t appropriate with the dignity of the House.
Om Birla stated, ‘Whatever occurred in the House yesterday is extraordinarily unlucky. No member ought to make particular feedback on girls. This isn’t appropriate with the dignity of the House. Members are requested to keep away from private feedback on any caste, society, girl or man of their speech.
