The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has made an exciting announcement: the Federal University of Environment and Technology in Ogoni land, Rivers State, is now recognized as the Africa Climate Center focused on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Emmanuel Nkweke, the IAWPA’s International Spokesman, the university is making great strides under the leadership of Pioneer Vice Chancellor, Prof. Prince Charles Mmon. The recent establishment of the university showcases the commitment of President Bola Tinubu’s administration to sustainable development in Africa. The official announcement of this appointment will take place on January 25, aligning with the United Nations International Day of Education. Amb. Prof. Felix Obujafa, who leads IAWPA’s research and development, will present this significant recognition to Prof. Mmon.
