MOSCOW, Idaho – The 2024-25 regular season has come to a close.

Idaho basketball faced one last challenge before the Big Sky Conference Tournament in Boise. They took on the Montana State Bobcats at Worthington Arena. The first half was tightly contested, with both teams working hard. Idaho had some strong defense, but found themselves trailing 41-31 at halftime after a few missed shots and open looks for the Bobcats.
The second half didn’t start any better for the Vandals. Shots continued to miss the mark, and Montana State capitalized on their opportunities. Patrick McMahon led the Bobcats with 23 points, securing a 75-60 victory.
Titus Yearout was Idaho’s top scorer with 15 points. Kolton Mitchell and Isaiah Brickner contributed 12 points each, while Julius Mims added 10. This season marks the fourteenth time that at least four Idaho players have scored in double figures.
Despite the loss, Idaho secured a bye in the upcoming Big Sky Tournament. They will now wait to see if they will face Idaho State or Portland State in their first match of the tournament.
