Authorities have released new details about a tragic bus rollover on Interstate 90 in Pembroke, New York, which resulted in five fatalities. Among the deceased were Shankar Kumar Jha, 65, from India; Pinki Changrani, 60, from New Jersey; Xie Hongzhuo, 22, a Columbia University student from China; Zhang Xiaolan, 55, also from New Jersey; and Jian Mingli, 56, from Jersey City.
Authorities have reported that the driver showed no signs of impairment, and initial checks indicated no mechanical issues with the bus. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
